For the ward:

Hello Riverton 17th Ward! My cute little island of Puerto Rico says Hello! First, the church is still true, God still loves his children, and go to the temple. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and our greatest tool in doing missionary work. If you have friends, family members, or loved ones who are struggling or who are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, use the book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is the key to resolving doubts and building faith. It teaches the gospel of Jesus Christ simply and powerfully. I would encourage the ward to find a way to use the Book of Mormon to strengthen the ward as a whole and as individuals. We have been asked to read the book of Mormon everyday and to always be building our faith through its precepts. One of my favorite promises in Preach My Gospel  says,

"Rely on the promise in Moroni 10:3–5. Every person who sincerely reads and prays about this book can know with certainty of its truthfulness by the power of the Holy Ghost. Do all you can to help people:
  • Read the Book of Mormon and ponder its message concerning Jesus Christ.
  • Pray to God with faith in Jesus Christ to receive a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is the prophet of the Restoration.
  • Pray sincerely and have real intent, which means that they intend to act on the answer they receive from God.
You too should apply this promise regularly to strengthen and renew your own testimony of the Book of Mormon. This renewed testimony will help you maintain a firm confidence that anyone who applies this promise will receive the answer."
If you have not applied this promise recently in your life please do so. Please ask again to know if the Book of Mormon is true. Always use this promise. He is here to strengthen your faith and your testimony. I know that we are living in a time that is hard and confusing. To the youth in the ward I encourage all of you to prepare to serve missions and to prepare by reading the book of Mormon everyday.  This has been the best decision of my life to serve a mission. I miss my family. I miss my friends but the love and joy that comes from sharing the gospel with others overcomes every difficulty in the mission. We don't have time to be casual with our reading of the Book of Mormon and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Build up your testimonies now. I love all of you so much. :)
